Like Showing them who you are, encouraging them should also be a start to finish piece of the process.  Encouragement is a HUGE part of showing them who you are.  As you have probably figured out, the S.H.I.N.E. process is from a Service Mindset.  We want to help others.  We want to help those who are less fortunate than us.  We want to show them opportunities and how those opportunities open up with learning and a diploma.  So many people do not get the encouragement that they need.  Be sure to be encouraging to anyone you are taking through this process every chance you get.  They have to know who you are and know you are a source of encouragement and positive energy that can help them by being a resource to success until they learn to stand on their own.
