An old woman sets out through the forest to visit her daughter. On the way, she meets a tiger and a fox but cleverly tricks them. With her daughter's help, she hides inside a pumpkin to return safely. In the end, the tiger and fox argue while the old woman escapes!

Moral: With courage and clever thinking, any obstacle can be overcome; even in difficult situations.

म्हातारी आपल्या लेकीला भेटायला जंगलातून जाते. वाटेत तिला वाघ आणि कोल्हा भेटतात, पण ती हुशारीने त्यांना फसवते. लेकीच्या मदतीने ती भोपळ्यात बसून परत येते. शेवटी वाघ-कोल्हा भांडत राहतात आणि म्हातारीचा जीव वाचतो !

तात्पर्य: संकट आल्यावर डोके शांत ठेवून विचार केला ,  म्हणजेच , अडचणीतसुद्धा धैर्य आणि चतुराई ठेवली, तर कोणतीही अडथळा पार करता येतो.

A monkey, a mouse, and a cat were best friends. When they made kheer together, the cat, tempted by its aroma, secretly ate it all and lied. In the end, her lie was revealed, and she had to confess her mistake.

माकड, उंदीर आणि मांजर हे चांगले मित्र होते. खीर तयार केल्यानंतर मनीमाऊने हावरेपणा दाखवत सगळी खीर एकटीने खाऊन टाकली आणिखोटंही बोलली. शेवटी तिचा खोटेपणा उघडकीस आला आणि तिला स्वतःच्या चुकीची कबुली द्यावी लागली.

तात्पर्य : नेहमीच खरे बोलावे. खोटेपणाची शिक्षा नेहमी मिळते.

वानरराज केसरी आणि अंजनी देवी सुखी जीवन जगत होते. अंजनीनेभगवान शंकराची कठोर तपस्या केली आणि दिव्य खीर प्रसाद स्वरूपातमिळाली. वायूदेवाच्या कृपेने अंजनीला एक तेजस्वी पुत्रझाला त्याचे नाव अंजनेय. बाळ अंजनेयने सूर्याला फळ समजून गिळलेआणि त्यामुळे सृष्टी अंधारली. वायुदेवाच्या संतापानंतर देवांनी अंजनेयला अनेक शक्ती दिल्या. अंजनेयच्या हनुवटीला वज्रास्त्र लागून जखम झाली होती  म्हणून त्या दिवसापासून त्याचं नाव हनुमान  हनुमान ठेवले गेले. लंकेकडे जाताना नागमाता राक्षसीणीने अडवले, पण हनुमानाने युक्तीने तिच्या तोंडातून मार्ग काढला.

 तात्पर्य: भक्ति, बल आणि बुद्धी यांच्या साहाय्याने कोणतीही अडचण पार करता येते.”

 King Kesari of the Vanaras and Queen Anjanilived a happy life. Anjani performed intense penance to Lord Shiva and was blessed with divine kheer. With the grace of the Wind God, a radiant son was born to her, named Anjaneya. Little Anjaneya mistook the sun for a fruit and swallowed it, plunging the world into darkness. Angered, the Wind God withdrew air from the world until the gods granted Anjaneya great powers. He was struck on the chin by a divine weapon, and from that day he was known asHanuman.

While journeying to Lanka, a serpent demoness blocked his path, but Hanuman cleverly escaped through her mouth.

 Moral : With devotion, strength, andintelligence, even divine challenges can be overcome.

वृंदावन गावात दरवर्षी चांगला पाऊस यावा म्हणून इंद्रदेवाची पूजा केली जायची. श्रीकृष्णाने गावकऱ्यांना सुचवलं की गोवर्धन पर्वतामुळे गाई गुरांना चारा मिळतो, त्यामुळे यापुढे आपण त्याचीच पूजा करूया. गावकऱ्यांनी गोवर्धन पर्वताच्या पूजेची तयारी केली, त्यामुळे इंद्रदेव रागावले आणि मुसळधार पाऊस पाडायला सुरुवात केली. गावकरी घाबरले आणि श्रीकृष्णाकडे मदतीसाठी गेले. श्रीकृष्णाने गोवर्धन पर्वत आपल्या करंगळीवर उचलला आणि गावकऱ्यांना पावसापासून वाचवलं. शेवटी इंद्रदेवाने माफी मागितली आणि त्या दिवसापासून गोवर्धन पर्वताचीच पूजा होऊ लागली.

बोध : खरी भक्ती ही निसर्गाचे महत्व ओळखून त्याचा आदर करण्यात आहे. अहंकाराऐवजी नम्रता आणि दुसऱ्यांचे रक्षण हेच खरे देवत्त्व आहे.

In Vrindavan, villagers prayed to Lord Indra every year for good rainfall and crops. One year, Krishna suggested they worship Govardhan Hill instead, as it gave grass and shade to their cattle. The villagers agreed, which angered Indra, who sent heavy rains to punish them. Frightened, the villagers turned to Krishna for help. Krishna lifted the mighty Govardhan Mountain on his little finger and sheltered everyone beneath it. After seven days of rain, Indra realized his mistake, apologized, and the villagers began worshiping Govardhan every year.

Moral : True devotion lies in understanding nature’s gifts and respecting what truly sustains life. Ego should never come before humility and protection of others.
