Tobacco Road begins and ends in Raleigh as the Pack place both men's and women's teams in the top tier of the NCAA Basketball Tournaments. NC State has delivered an amazing package of hoops for fans this season. Bang for the buck? Oh, you're into whipped cream territory now and keep your fingers crossed that a cherry of two are still in the works.

You can certainly talk about the ACC men superseding expectations and in many ways the women in post-season action as well. The best thing coming out of this season, other than some fantastic basketball is serious conversation regarding how teams are rated and ranked. The system is flawed and needs yet another overhaul. It's not the only collegiate sport desperately in need of a tune-up.
