For the third time in the last four weeks, NC State fell apart late in a loss, this time at Notre Dame in a disappointing 36-7 result on the road. After a valiant effort in the first half, NC State football fell apart late in a 36-7 loss to No. 16 Notre Dame on the road. The Wolfpack (4-3 1-2 ACC) couldn't generate stops on defense and mustered up just 87 yards with three turnovers in the second half as the Irish ran away and covered the massive spread in the final 30 minutes of action.
