As Catholics, dapat ba tayong makisali sa Halloween? Is it really ok to dress our kids as monsters and demons? At bakit nga ba talaga mahalaga ang Undas? Isang nakakabanal na kwentuhan (sana!) ang mapapakinggan ninyo with the Pads. 

Let's talk sacramentals! Rosaryo, crucifix, holy water, atbp. Minsan tinutulad natin sila bato ni darna o dragon balls—mga gamit na nagbibigay kapangyarihan. But is this how we Catholics understand our sacred images and symbols? Isang usapang catechetical but also practical ang mapapakinggan ninyo ngayon with the Pads. 

Red light! Green light! Kung kuha mo ang reference, then isa ka sa mga viewers ng worldwide-trending Korean series na Squid Game. But more than entertainment, this show asks questions that are worth pondering, especially from our Catholic perspective. Are humans essentially good or evil?  Are principles as important as survival? When are we truly free? Isang makulit at tapat na pagninilay po ang aming handog sa epidode na ito.

Nalalapit na naman ang eleksyon, pero ano nga ba ang dapat maging pagtanaw at pagbahagi ng isang Katoliko dito? At ng Simbahan? What kind of leaders do we pray for? What kind of preparations are we doing as voters so that we may vote, not just wisely, but with a good conscience? 

Bayani nating itinuturing ang ating mga healthcare frontliners ngayong may pandemya. Kaya naman naisipan naming mga Pads na magbigay pugay sa kanila, by looking into what our Catholic faith and tradition teaches us about the healing ministry. By doing so we hope to enhance their practice and for everyone else, to remember that all of us, by virtue of being Christian, are called to be healers to each other. 

Blue is the color of sadness . . . but also of Mama Mary. So ano ba talaga? Pwede both? Of course! In this episode we talk about the feelings that get us down (napakarami sa panahon ngayon), what our human experience and our Catholic faith says about sadness, and most importantly how Mama Mary can be a model for how sadness can not only be dealt with, but even be the crosses that sanctify and save us. 

Time for another candid kwentuhan, pero ngayon medyo mabigat ang aming paghuhugutan. Pinasok na ng pandemya ang aming seminaryo, at isa sa aming mga Pads ang nahawa! In this simple sharing listen to two perspectives of the COVID experience: one from the infected who underwent 17 days of quarantine (and more!), and from the community who had to come together to care for their sick while keeping themselves safe.
