In this week's episode, we speak to Malaysian Warriors legend and goal kicking champion, Jason Flanagan. Flana will go down in history as not only one of the greats of the Warriors, but one of the best players to have ever graced the field in Asia.
This highly talented footy star began his sports career playing soccer with Vic country and also Melbourne Croatia in the NSL with a fair level of success before ending up in Malaysia in 2000. From then on, there wasn't much he didn't achieve for the Warriors including 187 games, a couple of B&F's, leading goalkicker 7 times, 6 years as captain, 5 years as president and was a member of the Warriors team in their inaugural 2012 Manila Cup and 2017 Asian Champs victories.

Tony "the silver fox" Evans is arguably the most decorated player to have ever pulled on a Philippine Eagles or Eurekas jumper. A former VFL/AFL player with St. Kilda and Footscray, this very talented and loveable larrikin was responsible for bringing a bit of mongrel to the Philippine Eagles as well as polish and class.
His knowledge and experience of the game made all his teammates walk taller and gave us the belief that we could go toe to toe with any opponent. With more than 200 games and 3 premierships with East Ballarat under his belt as well as numerous achievements in Masters footy to go hand in hand with his VFL/AFL experience, Evo brought a totally new belief to the team and was an integral of the Philippine Eagles success in 2016 when we claimed the double of the Manila Cup and Asian Championships in the same year.
This is a cracking episode with some great stories, insights and memories from this humble and self-effacing PAFL legend and is a must listen!
