A Las Vegas rideshare driver thinks he has seen everything—until the same elderly passenger begins appearing at an empty lot near Desert Inn, asking to be driven to homes she insists belong to someone else.
Then she gives him an address he recognizes.

Turn off the lights… and turn on the dark. We reached the Spires expecting ruins.
What we found was breathing metal. The structures pulsed at 18 Hz — an infrasonic rhythm that vibrated vision, warped gravity, and turned the air into ionized static. The jungle stopped behaving like nature and started acting like circuitry. Copper-veined fungi wired themselves into obsidian altars. Rain levitated. Dinosaurs flickered in and out of existence. Then the Abelisaur performed the ritual. Its sonic bursts ignited the bio-metallic pillars in ghost-blue light. The frequency intensified. Half the team dissolved into grey mist. The rest began humming in perfect unison — no longer explorers… but antennas. The Spires weren’t ruins.
They were a motherboard.
