In this episode of the tafsīr series, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Hanif explains Sūrah Al-Isrāʾ (verses 9–17), and how the Qur’ān guides people to what is right. It gives good news to those who believe and do good deeds, and warns those who do not believe in the Hereafter of serious punishment. He further explains the nature of human haste, the signs of night and day, and how Allah has set everything with wisdom and order. The verses remind us that each person is responsible for their own actions, and everyone will see their deeds on the Day of Judgement. No one will carry the burden of another. These verses also remind us of past nations destroyed after Prophet Nuḥ (AS), showing that Allah is fully Aware and All-Seeing of everything His servants do.
