In this episode of the tafsīr series, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Hanif explains verses from Sūrah Al-Isrāʾ (26–39), where Allah provides guidance on handling wealth, relationships, and responsibilities. The verses stress the importance of giving to close relatives, the poor, and travellers, while avoiding wastefulness. Allah advises us to be moderate in generosity, avoiding both stinginess and extravagance. The verses also highlight the sanctity of life, the need to keep promises, and treat others justly. Allah warns against adultery, killing children out of fear of poverty, and the mistreatment of orphans. We are reminded to worship Allah alone and live with integrity and gratitude for His provision.
