The Folium Diary begins as the playful audio journal of Cherie Hazzard, a brilliant, elusive young woman documenting her “internship” with a mysterious project called the Folium. Through books, banter, flirtation, philosophy, and small-town drama, Cherie gradually reveals that the diary itself is part of a larger performance: an attempt to introduce a long-term social vision rooted in ecological wisdom, affectionate anarchy, and the nurturing of better humans. As the story unfolds, family secrets, doppelgängers, hidden rooms, and shifting narrators widen the world.
