With the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy now completed, Lucasfilm has begun to fill in the corners of the universe, very much as they did following the Prequel Trilogy. One of the elements of The Rise of Skywalker that was questionable to some was the resurrection of Palpatine. Now that the trilogy is complete, several stories have featured elements that I believe lead to the return of the Emperor. Join with me as I discuss the steps throughout the canon that lead to this villain's refusal to die.

"Gatekeeping" is a word that's been floating around the interwebs for many years now. It is the concept of certain fans deciding who has the "right" to be a fan of something. In other words, these fans think they have the right to decide what constitutes a fan. In Star Wars terms, these are people who, for example, say you can't be a fan because you love the Sequel Trilogy. I'm here to say these people are wrong!
