It was meant to be ridiculous, even though it did present some very important ideas and lessons. In recent years it seems to me that the online discourse surrounding Star Wars has become too serious, thus taking away from the fun that this galaxy is supposed to induce. To this end, they followed Ochi of Bestoon across the galaxy because they knew he had a clue that could lead them to the Sith wayfinder that could point the way to the mysterious Sith capital.
