Breitbart.com reported this week that the Chinese Communists claim to have outperformed Hollywood at the global box office. True or not, we mustn’t ignore the importance our mortal enemies assign to winning the culture war.

That’s because, as the late, great Andrew Breitbart famously observed, “Politics is downstream from culture.” The CCP’s bid for dominating the world politically required that it buy up, control and otherwise eviscerate the U.S. movie industry – and it has done so. Beijing’s boast about crushing Hollywood with a propaganda film about China defeating American Marines in Korea is a milestone in the countdown to coming kinetic conflicts.

When that happens – possibly as soon as this March – where will we find our Frank Capra, the iconic filmmaker who rallied our country to victory in World War II? Sadly, his counterpart now works for the Chinese Communist Party.
