Pags' Perspective

With the passing of legendary baseball announcer Bob Uecker being announced earlier today, I reflect on his 54 seasons calling Milwaukee Brewers baseball, and what he has meant for the game of baseball and for broadcasting. Rest In Peace, Bob Uecker (1934-2025).

The end of 2024 came with the sad news of the 39th President of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter, passing away at 100 years old. As his funeral services are set to be held on January 9th in both Washington D.C. and his home state of Georgia, Pags takes a look back at the legacy of former President Carter and what we all can learn from his life, as both President and as a humanitarian following his administration.

Ryan Pagano's reaction to Juan Soto signing a record 15 year, $765 million contract with the New York Mets on the night of December 8th, 2024.

That's really all I have to say.

Per Jeff Passan, the Mets inked former Brewers starter Frankie Montas to a 2 year, $34 million deal. This signing may not be that of Juan Soto, arguably the best player available in this year's free agent class and one that Mets fans are really wishing for in Queens this holiday season.

Pags reacts to this signing, and gives his input on what this could mean for the Mets' ongoing pirsuit of Juan Soto, in this edition of Pags' Perspective!

Pags gives his thoughts on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli cabinet agreeing to a ceasefire with Hezbollah on November 26, 2024.

Pags gives his thoughts on former Florida attorney general becoming President-elect Trump's next pick for U.S. Attorney General, following Matt Gaetz's withdrawal from consideration.

It's a New York football doubleheader! A chaotic one for sure, but a doubleheader nonetheless.
