Even when you are referred, most potential clients will “check you out” online before they decide to request an estimate.

Without a website, many painters are “stuck” buying expensive, low-quality leads from HomeAdvisor, Angie’s List, Thumbtack, Houzz, and other online lead giants. This is a shame because you are just subsidizing your own online competition locally when you do this. However, once you do decide to build a website it gets complicated.
