This week Erik and Aidan discuss the conclusion of the Cincinnati Masters, which promised a bang and ended with a fizzle. The tournament had overall delivered through the majority of the tournament. Most of the top players had performed and we even had a shocking underdog run. Unfortunately, as the days dragged on, more and more players began to struggle with the conditions. This week Erik and Aidan recap the result of the Canadian Open, where American Ben Shelton emerged victorious! The young American was definitely a top contender, but this was still an unexpected result, achieving a finals victory over Russian Karen Khachanov. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Masters was already underway, with the first couple of rounds already completed. Whether it is fatigue or simply the tough conditions in Ohio at this time of the year, many top seeds have already fallen out of the tournament.
