It's sober September in the Dinks' house. Time to tackle some new creative projects!

This week we're launching our Patreon. For those of you who don't know what Patreon is, it's a membership platform that allows creatives to get paid for creating the things that they're already making. Patreon is an online community where people support creatives by paying a few bucks a month, or a lot of bucks a month, to directly support and engage with creatives.

In this episode we try talking without our tongues, or lips, and even give a try at throwing our voices like a ventriloquist. 

We returned to the Lower Mainland in BC for the first time since moving to Calgary. It was Memere & Pepere's 65th Anniversary which means a big Carriere Family party was put on. It was a weekend crammed full of Game Tournaments, drinking, music, singing, BBQ burgers & dogs and Japanese Salad. We concluded with a couple of days through the Okanagan to drop Chantel's brother at his home and to visit the area where Chantel grew up.

How did you learn to cook? This week we talk about how we learned to cook, bake, and prepare food. It creates an opportunity to do something together and builds confidence in your ability to provide for yourself and others. When you realize you can make a week's worth of bread for less than a dollar, cooking and baking also becomes a great way to cut back on costs.
