The Lads are joined by our very own Joe Parmenter of Hobgoblin and Makhar fame. Paleontologist and school mate of Boris Karloff (few years between them though) Joe joins the lads with some sweet throat singing and chat about horses to gladden the heart. Happy Birthday to The Paired Weapon Podcast! One year ago a pod was born. I know, it seems longer. Much longer. But it isn't, it's only a year... But WHAT a Year!!! Tournaments won, toys thrown, models painted (by Kev), dreams crushed and friends made. It's been a roller coaster all right but we've loved every second. Well... mostly.

In other news the lads sign up for the UK's first team tournament, No I In Team, run by the Mighty Mighty Mikey Newman (definitely one of the two best players in the UK), Matt starts playing Empire (again) and Kev gives Mr and Mrs Mino the month off. Enjoy!

Well, the end of TSC is nigh and Matt gets all Shakespearean as the lads regale listeners with takes of such woe and joy that the Bard himself would bite his fist in fury that he had not penned such classics. Whilst Kev 'Fiery Tybalt - Prince of Cats' is flying high and touching glory Matt gets left with the Nursemaid's role, or perhaps even less than that, not even an Iago for the lad. Such are the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune...

I don't mind telling you, it made me nervous to be in the presence of so much Ninth Age Royalty but each and every one of them was a pure gent. I now don't know who to support - apart From Kev - obviously!
