This year is flying by! I say that a lot but I'm constantly amazed at how far along we already are.

I'm also grateful for the opportunity to learn the things I've learned about Church History this year. What's your favorite thing that you've learned (or relearned) so far this year?

It's a pretty light week this week; just one check list and only about 16 minutes every day. Doable, but remember that if one verse is all you can handle, just do that. Something is better than nothing and the Lord loves our efforts!

How was your Holy Week last week? I did not make it through all of the things; there were a lot of things! I tried and got through a lot of it, but just couldn't do it all.

It's ok though; the Lord loves effort!

This week we're getting into Doctrine and Covenants sections 37-40. There's only one study plan for the week (link below), and we will only average about 16 minutes per day. That's totally doable.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Jesus Christ's life.

As a Church, we've been working to make Easter more prominent in our lives. Yes, the birth of Jesus was important, but without his death and resurrection, we would be stuck in an endlessly fallen state. Because he was resurrected, we can be too.

As part of our preparations for Easter, we get to start on our study plan a bit earlier than usual. There is a lot for us to get into this week too, so you'll notice that the checklist is very long. Don't worry - the longest day is Monday and it's just under 46 minutes.

Don't be discouraged! Just do what you can. The Lord loves our efforts and will magnify them!

I hope everyone enjoyed General Conference this weekend. The theme that stood out to me the most was getting prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I also thought it was interesting that we were told that a study of the Restoration would help prepare us for the Second Coming.

There are two different plans this week, but Plan B is really only about 2 minutes longer each day than Plan A. There's a lot of stuff to look at.

I know I've mentioned it before, but the Plan of Happiness is my favorite thing to talk about! I'm so excited to learn more about it this week.

There's only one study plan for this week, and we're only averaging about 12 minutes a night. That's good news because that means there will still be time to prepare ourselves for General Conference next week.

This week has some really good stuff! Obviously, there are a few sections of the Doctrine and Covenants, but we're also getting into the organization of the Church, talking about prophets, and learning more about the keys and authority of the priesthood.

Our average study time per day is less than 19 minutes. But remember - start where you are and just do your best. That will vary from day to day and the Lord knows where you are and what you can do. He only expects that we try.
