      Nuestro primer día en Cabo Frío Brasil, fue realmente atípico, porque la verdad nos gusta planear todo con anticipación. En esta ocasión nuestra compañera de viaje, una prima de Zuni, llamada Dina que viajo junto a su esposo, no estuvieron conforme con el departamento que habíamos alquilado y con justa razón realmente, por un tema de pulcritud. Decidimos amanecer esa noche en ese lugar y luego al otro día buscar un nuevo hospedaje. Caminamos bastantes encontrando diferentes precios y al final de la tarde encontramos un condominio, con un departamento realmente maravilloso. Una vez instalado, nos dispusimos a realizar las compras para la semana y por supuesto aprovechar lo más que podíamos de la playa.

Our first day in Cabo Frio, Brazil, was truly atypical, because we usually like to plan everything in advance. This time, our travel companion, Zuni's cousin Dina, who was traveling with her husband, wasn't happy with the apartment we had rented, and quite rightly so, because of the cleanliness. We decided to spend the night there and then look for new accommodations the next day. We walked around quite a bit, finding different prices, and at the end of the afternoon, we found a condominium with a truly wonderful apartment. Once settled in, we set about doing our shopping for the week and, of course, enjoying the beach as much as we could.

Buscando información en internet del porqué el nombre de Cabo Frío, me encuentro con la sorpresa de que se denomina así, porque entre otras cosas las aguas son bastante fría con respecto a lo normal en Brasil. Me sorprendí sinceramente porque nosotros a las 5 de la mañana y hasta las 8 de la noche nos metíamos al mar tranquilamente. Seguramente haciendo referencia con todo el Caribe debe ser una de las aguas más frías, para ellos. Haciendo broma con Zuni decíamos, seguramente no conocen las aguas realmente frías de nuestra Mar del plata querida, en la Argentina.

While searching online for the reason behind the name Cabo Frío, I was surprised to learn that it's called that because, among other things, the waters are quite cold compared to what's typical in Brazil. I was genuinely surprised because we used to go swimming without a problem at 5 a.m. and until 8 p.m. Surely, compared to the rest of the Caribbean, it must be some of the coldest waters for them. Zuni and I joked that they probably haven't experienced the truly cold waters of our beloved Mar del Plata in Argentina.

      La niña Maite es hija de mi amigo Ricardo @editorojo y en su cumpleaños N.º 15 le organizaron una gran fiesta. Mi familia fue invitada y por supuesto, concurrimos para disfrutar y ser testigos de tan único momento. Todo salió maravilloso... desde el lugar del evento, la comida, bebidas y por supuesto los momentos divertidos que sucedieron.

     Pese a que el sol no se hizo presente ese día, las experiencias en estos icónicos y emblemáticos monumentos, siempre son muy positivos. Por diferentes motivos nos dijeron que no era conveniente que concurriéramos ese día, pero desoyendo las opiniones fuimos igual y realmente fue una experiencia inolvidable. En este primer día, concurrimos a una rueda gigante que nos recomendaron y pese a que no nos gustan mucho las alturas, en cierta forma lo disfrutamos. Luego si, nos dispusimos a subir la montaña para conocer al famoso Cristo Redentor de Brasil.

Even though the sun didn't shine that day, the experiences at these iconic and emblematic monuments are always very positive. For various reasons, we were told it wasn't advisable to go that day, but ignoring the advice, we went anyway, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. On this first day, we went on a Ferris wheel that had been recommended to us, and although we don't particularly like heights, we enjoyed it to some extent. Then, we set off to climb the mountain to see the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil.

      Tanta gente en el lugar se hacía imposible obtener una buena captura, pero gracias a las ediciones, pudimos lograr algo bastante loable. Más allá de las capturas que uno puede obtener, creo que lo más importante es lo que se guarda en la retina y en la memoria de estas vivencias. Clima denso, con mucha humedad, pero nada detenía nuestro caminar hacia el lugar.

There were so many people there that it was impossible to get a good shot, but thanks to editing, we managed to achieve something quite commendable. Beyond the photos one can take, I think the most important thing is what is stored in the mind's eye and in the memory of these experiences. The weather was dense and humid, but nothing stopped us from making our way there.

      Experiencias únicas y en ocasiones irrepetibles. Siempre me gusta dar los créditos pertinentes a las personas que realmente lo hacen posible y en este caso, nuevamente es para @zutodoterreno, que en medio de las adversidades siempre busca las formas de resolver. Invitación para un evento trascendental de un familiar y fue casi inevitable negarnos a concurrir. En esta ocasión mostraré algo que para mí fue por primera vez y tiene que ver con la experiencia de viajar en avión. Nos acompañó un lindo día y por ende puede realizar, según mi criterio, buenas capturas.

Unique and sometimes unrepeatable experiences.       Si tengo la posibilidad de planear un feriado largo particular y personal, tiene que ser algo que realmente sea radical.       Seguramente te pasó o quizás a algún familiar cercano, que te sentías muy mal, con diferentes síntomas que los médicos tradicionales no podían detectar de qué se trataba y tuviste que recurrir a un médico rural, rezadores, curanderos, etc. Existen y según mi parecer son utilizados con mucha asiduidad y a veces no lo contamos. A través de un contenido audiovisual te cuento mis percepciones y experiencias al respecto. Demás está decir que por supuesto siempre uno tiene que recurrir al médico de cabecera tal cual nos enseñaron, y las opiniones vertidas en este pódcast son simplemente eso... Opiniones personales.

      La lengua guaraní que hoy en día se habla principalmente en Paraguay, pero gracias a las emigraciones sucedidas a lo largo de la historia, en Argentina y especialmente en la provincia de Corrientes, de donde soy oriundo, utilizamos en nuestro léxico cotidiano, palabras en guaraní. Si visitas la provincia, te darás cuenta de que hablan diferentes a como lo hacemos en la Buenos Aires. Mi comprovinciano @jlufer no me dejará mentir, ya que él vive en la capital correntina y seguramente todos los días, dice alguna palabra en guaraní.

En un contenido audiovisual, expongo mis pareces sobre esta lengua y de porque jamás morirá.

The Guarani language, spoken primarily in Paraguay today, has also been incorporated into everyday speech in Argentina, particularly in the province of Corrientes, my home province, thanks to historical migrations. If you ever visit Corrientes, you'll notice they speak differently than we do in Buenos Aires. My fellow Corrientes native, @jlufer, can attest to this, as he lives in the city of Corrientes and likely uses Guarani at least once a day.

      Creo, particularmente, que no hay dudas que la educación fundamental parte desde nuestros hogares. Pero estos espacios son de vital importancia en lo que hace a la formación de diferentes aspectos de los seres humanos. Desde cómo hacer fuego, resolver problemas con lo que tenemos, fortalecer nuestro carácter desde el juego y un montón de aspectos que hacen al desarrollo personal, sobre todo de nuestros pequeños. Al igual que el servicio militar, creo que ser parte de los Scouts en una etapa de tu vida es de vital importancia. No fui parte de lo mismo, pero sí mis hijos y eso me lleva a la siguiente reflexión.
