  • Meghan Markle’s Netflix Acting Comeback Collapses as Harry and Meghan Lose Their Biggest Ally
Meghan Markle's rumored return to acting in Netflix's The Gentlemen appears to be over, with conflicting reports about whether the Duchess of Sussex was ever seriously considered for the Guy Ritchie drama.

People magazine reports that Meghan is no longer in discussions about joining the show's third season. But sources disagree about what happened behind the scenes.

A friend quoted by The Telegraph claims Netflix may have used speculation about Meghan's involvement to generate publicity for the series, while Page Six previously reported that Meghan had a conversation with a casting director but never received an actual offer.

Sources connected to the production have pushed back against suggestions that the show needed a celebrity casting stunt.

And the controversy arrives amid a potentially much bigger problem for Harry and Meghan's Netflix relationship.

The Sunday Times reports that Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria, described as one of the Sussexes' strongest supporters at the streaming giant, has departed amid wider company redundancies.

An unnamed consultant claims Bajaria's departure could leave Harry and Meghan vulnerable as new executives review expensive projects that have struggled to reach production.
Several Sussex-related productions remain unfinished or in development, including adaptations of Meet Me at the Lake, The Wedding Date and No Way Out, along with Prince Harry's proposed polo drama.

Former Disney executive Peter Rice is reportedly taking over Bajaria's role, with sources predicting a tougher approach to projects that have not delivered results.
Meanwhile, Radar Online claims Meghan has been sending handwritten notes, flowers and products from her As Ever brand to Netflix executive Ted Sarandos in an effort to maintain the relationship.

The outlet's unnamed sources allege that Meghan's attention is becoming excessive and may be creating discomfort rather than goodwill. These claims remain unverified.
Writing in The Spectator, Alexander Larman questions whether Meghan can successfully restart her acting career without a major production like The Gentlemen.
Meghan is still reportedly expected to make a cameo in the upcoming Amazon film Close Personal Friends, playing a version of herself.

But the Sussexes' entertainment troubles are not the only story.

Prince Harry's legal dispute with Sentebale, the charity he co-founded in memory of Princess Diana, has been temporarily paused.

The Telegraph reports that deadlines in Sentebale's defamation case against Harry have been extended amid concerns about falling income and potentially enormous legal costs.
The lawsuit has not been withdrawn, and Harry is reportedly prepared to defend himself at trial.
The dispute follows a bitter breakdown between Harry and the charity's leadership, including allegations of bullying, harassment and abuse of power that were not substantiated by the Charity Commission's subsequent investigation.

Finally, Harry has revealed how he introduces himself to strangers. Despite his lengthy official name and royal titles, his preferred introduction is remarkably simple: “Hi, I'm Harry.”

Questions this episode answers: Is Meghan Markle joining Netflix's The Gentlemen? Did Meghan receive an acting offer from Guy Ritchie? Was Meghan used to promote the Netflix series? Why did Bela Bajaria leave Netflix? Have Harry and Meghan lost their biggest supporter at the streaming service? Could Netflix cancel the Sussexes' unfinished projects? Is Meghan trying to maintain her relationship with Ted Sarandos? Will Meghan return to acting in Close Personal Friends? Why has Sentebale's lawsuit against Prince Harry been paused? Could Harry face a defamation trial involving his former charity? And how does Prince Harry introduce himself to strangers?

  • Kate Middleton’s Royal Banquet Dress Disaster Narrowly Avoided
Princess Catherine narrowly avoided a royal wardrobe mishap during a glittering state banquet at Windsor Castle, after eagle-eyed viewers noticed that part of her flowing yellow gown appeared to be trapped beneath a chair leg.

King Charles and Camilla hosted approximately 160 guests to celebrate Britain's relationship with Oman, with a menu featuring Scottish seafood, Windsor pheasant and baked Alaska.
During his speech, Charles paid a special tribute to the next generation of royal leadership, highlighting Prince William's partnership with the Sultan's son, Sayyid Theyazin, through the Jewel of Arabia Expedition.

But the Royal Family's most emotional engagement came away from Windsor.

King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prince William traveled to Aberfan to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the Welsh mining disaster that killed 116 children and 28 adults in 1966.
The royals laid wreaths and met survivors, rescuers and bereaved families at the memorial garden built on the site of Pantglas Junior School.

  • Harry and Meghan’s Nottingham Cheers Were Encouraged? Royal Reporters Reveal Awkward Detail
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to royal-style public engagements has reportedly triggered fresh anger behind palace walls, with one source claiming Prince William is so furious that he would throw the Sussexes out of Britain if he could.

The latest controversy began when a friend of Harry and Meghan told Hello! magazine that the couple never agreed to abandon their original half-in, half-out royal arrangement. Instead, the friend claimed the late Queen Elizabeth imposed that decision on them.

The comments prompted an angry response from figures described as close to the Royal Family. One friend of the late Queen called the suggestion “unforgivable,” while a former courtier loyal to King Charles described the idea of treating the Queen's decision like a contract as “absolutely disgusting.”

Meanwhile, questions are being raised about the enthusiastic reception Harry and Meghan received in Nottingham.

Hello! magazine reports that representatives of one charity encouraged members of the crowd to cheer loudly and shout messages of affection before the Sussexes arrived. Royal correspondents described the unusual attempt to generate enthusiasm as something they had rarely witnessed at royal engagements.

There is also a new dispute over how Harry and Meghan should be described. A friend of the couple says they strongly dislike being called “non-working royals” or “former royals,” arguing that Harry remains a member of the Royal Family and that both Sussexes continue to work.
But the rivalry with William and Catherine appears to be intensifying, at least according to the tabloids.

Rob Shuter claims Meghan interpreted Catherine and Princess Charlotte's recent journey on the London Underground as a deliberate attempt to embarrass her over the Sussexes' security concerns. A source close to Catherine rejects the allegation, insisting the Princess of Wales was simply spending time with her daughter.

Meanwhile, William and Kate have released a new woodland portrait of Catherine connected to research into the benefits of nature for young children's development.

And New Idea claims William is “seething” over the Sussexes' Nottingham visit, accusing Harry and Meghan of staging an unofficial royal engagement that clashed with King Charles's duties in Wales.
Other anonymous sources claim William remains deeply angry with Harry, dislikes the couple's commercial activities and wants their public appearances kept separate from official royal events. None of these alleged private reactions has been independently confirmed.

Finally, Prince William found himself in an awkward situation when a woman attempted to kiss him on the cheek during a recent public engagement. The prince appeared to politely decline.
Questions this episode answers: Is Prince William furious about Harry and Meghan's return to Britain? Did the Sussexes reject Queen Elizabeth's half-in, half-out decision? Why are palace insiders calling Harry and Meghan's comments unforgivable? Were crowds encouraged to cheer for Meghan in Nottingham? Why do Harry and Meghan dislike being called former royals? Did Meghan take offense at Kate and Charlotte riding the London Underground? Is William trying to prevent Harry and Meghan from staging royal-style engagements? Why did Kate release a new woodland portrait? And what happened when a woman tried to kiss Prince William?

  • Prince William Steals the Show
Princess Catherine could be joining Prince William in India next month for the Earthshot Prize, setting the stage for a major international appearance as the Prince and Princess of Wales increase their public engagements together.

Vanity Fair reports that sources close to the couple expect Catherine to accompany William to Mumbai, although Kensington Palace has not officially confirmed her attendance.
Royal biographer Russell Myers says William and Kate have missed supporting each other publicly during a difficult period marked by family health concerns. Their return to joint appearances could signal a new chapter for the future king and queen.

But is there another reason for their increasingly busy schedule?

An unnamed insider tells Vanity Fair that William and Catherine want their official roles to remain clearly distinct from the activities of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have resumed public appearances since returning to Britain.

Meanwhile, former MP Nadine Dorries argues that Meghan is deliberately competing with Catherine for attention. Dorries points to Meghan's recent appearance with Malala Yousafzai, social media posts featuring Archie and Lilibet, and charity merchandise launches as evidence of a carefully timed publicity campaign.

Royal commentator Deep Crown disagrees with the suggestion that Catherine should fight Meghan for headlines, arguing that the Princess of Wales is better served by continuing her established charitable work rather than entering a celebrity popularity contest.

Away from the royal rivalry, Prince William is having a particularly enjoyable week.
The Prince of Wales celebrated Aston Villa's emphatic six-nil Champions League victory over Fenerbahçe, with photographs showing him jumping to his feet and punching the air.
William also showed off his cricket skills outside Buckingham Palace during an event promoting the Earthshot Prize in India. Cricket legends Brian Lara and Joe Root praised his batting, although both suggested his bowling could use some improvement.

And William demonstrated that even future kings can use a little help taking selfies when a woman outside Buckingham Palace reached over and adjusted his arm to improve their camera angle.
Plus, William delighted fans by copying Aston Villa captain John McGinn's trademark celebration during his cricket appearance, prompting affectionate reactions on social media.

Questions this episode answers: Is Kate Middleton traveling to India with Prince William? Will Catherine attend the Earthshot Prize in Mumbai? Are William and Kate increasing their public appearances to compete with Harry and Meghan? Does Meghan Markle deliberately steal Kate's spotlight? What did Nadine Dorries say about Meghan's publicity campaign? How are William and Catherine responding to the Sussexes' return? Why was Prince William celebrating at Aston Villa? How good is William at cricket? What did Brian Lara and Joe Root say about his batting? And why did a woman correct Prince William's selfie technique?

  • Harry and Meghan’s Royal Comeback: Cheering Crowds, Hugs and a Warning Not to Expect More
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their first joint public appearance since returning to Britain, receiving flowers, hugs and an enthusiastic welcome in Nottingham.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the city where they made their first official appearance as an engaged couple in 2017. Nearly nine years later, supporters gathered outside the Community Recording Studio to greet them, with Meghan telling one well-wisher, “It’s great to be back.”
The couple spent the day visiting organizations supporting young people, including the Community Recording Studio, Epic Partners and Himmah Hub. Harry reconnected with people he has supported for years, while Meghan met young women participating in confidence-building activities and reunited with women involved in the charity cookbook she helped produce following the Grenfell Tower fire.
But anyone expecting the Sussexes to resume a full schedule of royal-style engagements may be disappointed.

A source quoted by the Telegraph claims Meghan's public appearances will remain relatively rare and that joint charitable visits like Nottingham could happen only a handful of times each year.
Meanwhile, body language experts are examining every move the couple made. One commentator describes Harry as “besotted” with Meghan and suggests his protective glances show how closely he watches over her during public appearances.

Meghan's fashion choices are also attracting attention. She wore British designers in a coordinated burgundy outfit, with former royal butler Grant Harrold suggesting the look was a deliberate signal that she is committed to her new life in Britain.

And while Harry and Meghan were greeting crowds in Nottingham, King Charles and Queen Camilla were carrying out their own official duties in Cardiff, opening the new session of the Welsh Parliament.

Was the timing a coincidence, or another example of the competing royal calendars?
Questions this episode answers: How were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received in Nottingham? Did crowds cheer Harry and Meghan during their royal comeback? What did Meghan say about returning to Britain? Which charities did the Sussexes visit? Did Meghan reunite with women from the Grenfell cookbook project? Will Harry and Meghan resume regular public engagements? Why does a body language expert describe Harry as besotted with Meghan? What message was Meghan sending with her British designer outfit? And what were King Charles and Queen Camilla doing during the Sussexes' visit?

  • Andrew Wants Royal Titles Back
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor may be preparing for another confrontation with the Royal Family following his recent legal victory over police search warrants.

The Daily Mail reports that some of Andrew's friends are encouraging him to challenge the loss of his royal titles and seek a greater role in family life.

An unnamed source claims Andrew believes he has been unfairly treated and is tired of being made a scapegoat. While he reportedly accepts that his days as a working royal are over, he wants to stop being treated as an outcast.

The report also suggests Andrew resents what he sees as more lenient treatment of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, despite the Sussexes' public criticism of the monarchy.
But Andrew's personal relationships may be deteriorating.

The Times reports that Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are no longer speaking, with an unnamed source claiming Fergie is not welcome at his new home on the Sandringham estate.
Other reports suggest Andrew has resumed socializing with longtime friends, including shooting parties, while speculation continues about a mystery woman allegedly visiting his residence.
Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson is reportedly considering her own future outside the Royal Family.
Tabloid sources claim Fergie has been encouraged by the controversy surrounding Earl Spencer's recent book about Princess Diana and may eventually consider publishing a revealing royal memoir of her own.
Sarah has denied planning a tell-all, but Radar Online claims unnamed sources believe she could wait until after King Charles's death before revealing private family information.
And there is a significant financial development.

King Charles has reportedly lent Andrew approximately $2 million to settle the repair costs associated with his departure from Royal Lodge. The Crown Estate has confirmed that Andrew's lease has ended and that the property will be marketed for future use.

The payment follows reports that Andrew received an early surrender rebate of approximately $400,000, reducing the amount he owed for repairs.

Finally, another reminder of Sarah Ferguson's fall from royal favor has emerged. A plaque commemorating her opening of accommodation for families of children receiving treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital has reportedly been removed, although the reason remains unknown.

Questions this episode answers: Is Andrew Mountbatten Windsor trying to reclaim his royal titles? Could Andrew challenge King Charles's decision in court? Why does Andrew reportedly believe Prince Harry has been treated more favorably? Are Andrew and Sarah Ferguson no longer speaking? Is Fergie banned from Andrew's new home? Does Andrew have a mystery woman in his life? Is Sarah Ferguson planning a royal tell-all book? Could Fergie wait until after King Charles's death to publish her memoir? Why did King Charles reportedly lend Andrew $2 million? What happened to Andrew's Royal Lodge lease? And why was Sarah Ferguson's hospital plaque removed?

  • Princess Diana's Brother Calls Her Movie “Terrible” as Michael Douglas Reveals Their Private Moment
Princess Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, has delivered a surprising verdict on the 2021 film Spencer, praising Kristen Stewart's portrayal of his sister while dismissing the movie itself.
Speaking with journalist Tina Brown, Charles Spencer says Stewart captured Diana's spirit despite looking little like her. He describes her performance as extraordinary but calls the film “terrible.”
Spencer also reveals that he has never watched Netflix's The Crown, despite the show's prominent portrayal of Diana.

Meanwhile, Hollywood legend Michael Douglas has shared intimate memories of his friendship with Princess Diana.

In his memoir, One Helluva Ride, Douglas recalls sitting beside Diana at a charity screening of Wall Street and apologizing for the film's language. Diana laughed off his concerns, and Douglas remembers their time together as an unusually personal connection.

He also describes a private dinner conversation that convinced him Diana was deeply unhappy in her marriage and wanted a different life.

Elsewhere, Zara Tindall has opened up about growing up with demanding parents and the pressure she experienced while training as an equestrian.

Zara says her father, Mark Phillips, rarely offered praise and could be a tough coach. Now raising three children of her own, she is trying to take a gentler approach.

And Princess Margaret's former lady-in-waiting, Lady Anne Glenconner, has revealed the rather unpleasant reason Margaret disliked champagne. According to Glenconner, the princess believed it made people's breath smell terrible.

Her new memoir also includes extraordinary childhood memories of playing with Princess Margaret and Queen Elizabeth, along with an unusual wartime scheme involving Adolf Hitler.
Meanwhile, King Charles's beloved Highgrove gardens contain two touching memorials to his late Jack Russell, Tigga. We explore the King's gardening passions, the restored childhood treehouse built for William and Harry, and the wildflower meadow he has cultivated for decades.
Finally, an exhibition celebrating Queen Elizabeth's wardrobe has become so popular that its run has been extended. The late Queen's enduring appeal is particularly strong in France, where millions continue to follow British royal history.

Questions this episode answers: What does Earl Spencer think of Kristen Stewart's portrayal of Princess Diana? Why did Diana's brother call Spencer a terrible film? Has Earl Spencer watched The Crown? What did Michael Douglas reveal about Princess Diana? Why did Douglas apologize to Diana during Wall Street? Was Diana unhappy in her marriage? What did Zara Tindall say about her father, Mark Phillips? Why did Princess Margaret dislike champagne? What childhood memories did Lady Anne Glenconner share? How does King Charles remember his dog Tigga? And why is Queen Elizabeth still so popular in France?

  • Kate Middleton’s Secret Playful Side Revealed
Prince William and Princess Catherine are reportedly taking a different approach to royal life, choosing to enjoy their public engagements while refusing to get drawn into the controversies surrounding Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

According to the Mirror’s royal editor Russell Myers, William and Kate are letting their work speak for itself rather than responding to the latest family disputes. The couple appear determined to have some fun along the way, presenting a more relaxed public image as they prepare for their future roles.

Royal author Ingrid Seward suggests Catherine could also play an important role in shaping a more modest monarchy when William becomes king. Her new book raises questions about whether the couple will maintain the Royal Family’s extensive collection of residences or choose a less extravagant approach.

Seward also reveals details of Kate’s childhood, including family adventure holidays in the Lake District that involved gathering firewood and bathing in tin baths.

And what is Kate really like behind palace doors?

Royal correspondent Emily Andrews says the private Catherine is much more playful than her formal public appearances might suggest. She recalls a practical joke during William and Kate’s 2014 visit to Australia, when Kate slipped a plastic spider into the lap of an unsuspecting aide who was frightened of spiders.

We also learn the Princess of Wales’s secret to drinking tea elegantly. According to etiquette expert Laura Windsor, Kate looks down into her cup rather than over its rim. And we revisit Prince Philip’s advice to Catherine about handling royal attention, including his warning that she was representing the monarchy rather than becoming a celebrity.

Meanwhile, Prince William has delivered a personal message for World Mental Health Day, urging people to reach out to anyone they fear may be struggling. William and Catherine have also supported a new toolkit designed to help sporting organizations recognize warning signs and begin potentially lifesaving conversations.

William has also helped launch a community emergency preparedness initiative, sharing a lighthearted moment with a woman whose home flooded while she was watching television.
And finally, William has quietly donated approximately $6,700 to former Royal Marine Dave “Dinger” Bell, who spent 327 consecutive days rowing alone across the Pacific and Indian oceans. The donation appeared under the name “William Wales,” a surname the prince previously used during his school and military years.

Questions this episode answers: Why are William and Kate refusing to discuss Harry, Meghan and Andrew? Is Catherine helping William plan a more modest monarchy? What was Kate Middleton’s childhood really like? Does Princess Catherine have a secret mischievous side? What practical joke did Kate play on a royal aide? What is Kate’s secret to drinking tea elegantly? What advice did Prince Philip give Catherine about being a royal? What did Prince William say about mental health and suicide prevention? How is William helping communities prepare for emergencies? Why did William donate $6,700 to a former Royal Marine? And why does Prince William sometimes use the name William Wales?
