September is recognized as National Recovery Month. It recognizes the evidence-based treatment and recovery practices that support a strong & proud recovery community. It also recognizes the service providers and community members who make recovery in all its forms possible.

The theme for this year is "Every Person. Every Family. Every Community."

Recovery is a personal choice but having support can make change possible. If you or someone you know would like to access the services available at the Palau Community Guidance Center, please contact Ribka or David at the following:

Services are free and available to all people regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."  

But what does health mean in the context of the Palau community?
