Just like virtually all people around the world, the Malaysia people feel a strong connection with Palestine and an affinity that transcends borders and ethnicities. The Malaysian perspective on Palestine and how that fits within a view on international politics is highly interesting.
The ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza has reverberated far and wide. Malaysia is one of the foremost countries that responded intensely, through its humanitarian and medical endeavours, if not in similarly public displays of protest and anger witnessed in the West.
Anas Altikriti sits with two prominent humanitarians. Prof. Kamal Nasharuddin and Dr. Hafidzi Mohd Nor, to discuss how Malaysian perceive the global world order through the lens of the ongoing massacre in Gaza, and Palestine generally.
