In this week’s message, we look at John’s account of Palm Sunday and one possible symbolism of what this means for us today. Jesus lived a surrendered life before God His Father. On Palm Sunday, people laid down their coats and palm branches – this reminds us that we also must live a surrendered life before God. Just as Jesus laid down His life for us and went to the cross, we too must lay down our lives for Him and allow Him to live in us and through us. --- Wir schauen uns die Erzählung des Evangelisten Johannes über den Palmsonntag an und einer möglichen Auslegung der Symbolik für uns heute. Jesus lebte ein hingebungsvolles Leben vor Gott, seinem Vater. Am Palmsonntag legten die Menschen ihre Mäntel und Palmzweige nieder - das erinnert uns daran, dass auch wir ein hingebungsvolles Leben vor Gott führen müssen. So wie Jesus sein Leben für uns hingegeben hat und ans Kreuz gegangen ist, müssen auch wir unser Leben für ihn hingeben und zulassen, dass er in uns und durch uns lebt.
