Palmcroft Church- Sunday Sermons

Pastor Robby finishes Acts 14 as Paul and Barnabas return to the churches they helped establish, strengthening believers and encouraging them to remain faithful through hardship. Their journey reminds us that following Jesus isn't always easy, but we have a hope that makes it worth it. We're challenged to go beyond simply sharing the gospel by helping others grow in their faith, encouraging one another, and trusting Jesus to continue building His church.

Pastor Robby continues through Acts 14 as Paul and Barnabas face opposition, perform miracles, and point people away from false gods toward the one true God. Their journey reminds us that faithfulness matters more than success and that even good things can become idols when we place them above God. The challenge is to recognize the false beliefs our culture embraces, submit our lives to God's Word, and help others see that what God offers is greater than anything this world can give.

Pastor Steven continues through Acts 13 as Paul and Barnabas encounter two very different responses to the gospel. While some reject the message out of jealousy and pride, others receive it with joy, reminding us that God's Word continues to move forward even in the face of opposition. The challenge is to examine how we respond to God's Word, allow it to transform our lives, and take part in sharing the hope of Jesus with others.

Jacob Van Gysel continues through Acts 13, looking at Paul's message about God's faithfulness throughout Israel's history and how His promises are fulfilled in Jesus. The message reminds us that it's easy to forget what God has done, even when He's been faithful through every season. We're challenged to remember His faithfulness, recognize the hope we have through Jesus, and share that good news with the people around us.

Pastor Robby continues through Acts 13, looking at the way Paul approached sharing the gospel with the people around him. Paul was intentional, willing to reason with people, patient enough to give them time, and courageous enough to keep going even when it was difficult. The challenge is to remember that every Christian is an ambassador for Jesus and to intentionally use the relationships and opportunities God has given us to point people toward the truth.

Pastor Robby continues through Acts 13 as Paul and Barnabas are sent out on their first missionary journey. Their story reminds us that God uses ordinary people who are willing to be sent, and that following His leading requires more than simply recognizing what He's asking us to do. The challenge is to listen to the Holy Spirit, stop putting off what He's calling us to, and go do the work He has placed in front of us.

Pastor Robby continues through Acts 12, looking at the death of Herod Agrippa and the danger of seeking glory that belongs to God. While leaders change, persecution comes, and the world around us feels unstable, the gospel continues to move forward. The challenge is to live with humility and consistency, making sure our lives help make the gospel clear rather than becoming an obstacle to it.

Pastor Robby continues through Acts 12, where persecution intensifies as James is killed and Peter is imprisoned and awaiting execution. While the church prays fervently, God answers in a way they never expected, miraculously leading Peter out of prison. The message challenges us to stop comparing our lives to someone else's, run the race God has given us, and keep praying with confidence that God can do far more than we could ever ask or imagine.

Pastor Robby continues through Acts 11 as the early church begins to understand that the gospel truly is for everyone. Through Peter, Barnabas, and the growing church in Antioch, we see what it looks like to celebrate what God is doing, submit to His Word, invite others into the work, and live with generosity. The challenge is to order our lives around what God is doing rather than simply what we want for ourselves.

Pastor Robby continues through Acts 10 as Peter brings the gospel to Cornelius and his household. As the Gentiles hear the good news and believe, we're reminded that the gospel is for everyone and that God wants to use us to share it. The challenge is simple: be ready, open your mouth, and expect God to use you in ways you may never see coming.
