Jesus will come with great power and glory! There is really a time coming when Jesus will return and the things of earth will instantly lose value. And we will go home!

God has great blessings for those who are sad!

Everything around us has been shaken.  But we are inheriting a kingdom that cannot be shaken!

There are great blessings for those who recognize their spiritual needs!

God's people had sinned in asking for a king and they knew it.  What should they do in their shame? Samuel told them, “Do not be afraid; you have done all this evil. Yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart." (v.20).  This is the right response to our shame. Admit the wrong of your last step and follow hard after God with your next step.

Jesus is alive!

The concept of a "Holy City" is foreign to many of us.  But the reverence for Jerusalem in Psalm 122 can call us to set apart things in our lives that help us to connect with God.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer! These reminders are perfect for the difficult time we are living in. Let these three qualities be a part of your experience.
