  • Legacy of 1804 on Draitser's CounterPunch Radio re: Haiti, UN, Clintons #LOF1804
In Eric Draitser's own words we discussed "the political situation in Haiti today, the insidious role of the Clintons, and the historical importance of the island nation as the leading edge of anti-colonial resistance. Eric and Alice explore the electoral drama unfolding in Haiti, and what it means for the future of the country. Of course, no discussion of the issue would be complete without an accounting of Hillary and Bill's criminal exploitation of the island over the last 25 years, up to and including today. The conversation also explores just why Haiti has been repeatedly subjected to the kind of repression and subjugation it has these last two centuries. All this and so much more in this wide-ranging discussion"

The interview lasts one hour and 16 minutes and there is a chance I will come on live during the broadcast to take questions although I cannot yet promise it for a variety of reasons. If you don't hear me chiming in after the interview is done braodcasting around 10:20, assume that I was not able to make it -- and not for lack of trying. LONG STORY.
Musical interlude: Boukman Eksperyans - Jou Nou Revolte

  • Legacy of 1804 on Hillary's State Dept, Martelly and #Haiti's Election (Replay)
    (THIS IS A REPLAY)
With Host Alice Backer of www.kiskeacity.com and co-hosts Hugues Girard and Hans Roy.
We will review recent press articles on the issue and parse out whether they are properly delving into the Clinton State Department's propping up of Martelly's contested presidency  in the 2010 election. And what role did Clinton's appointed Ambassador to Haiti Pamela White play in the aborted 2015 electoral coup in Haiti?
