Quincy and Daniel brought pizza and salad tonight as passover began, so we hooked up the microphones and mixer and made this show. It is the first one in maybe a month and we had forgotten how much fun it is to talk about the gay days of our lives. We thank you for listening and hope you enjoy a 37 minute escape from whatever might be weighing on your mind.
This one is all over the place starting with a discussion about incest. Yes a discussion about incest. So if you don't want to hear that part, skip ahead a few minutes. In fact the only good part might be the last five minutes but we did have fun making this and we hope you get something out of it that improves your day. Or night.
Super Bowl Sunday comes and goes with the least hoopla in a half a century but Tampa Florida enjoys another day in the spotlight so good for them. We spent about 90 seconds on this and the rest of it is a little less overtly gay sexual than previous shows so there is little to offend in this one. But also maybe less to titillate our hungrier listeners. We thank each of you for tuning in and remind you to send comments or pictures of yourselves to [email protected]
Or is it something else? We do not die small deaths in this one but we do discuss things orgasmic. Plus there is some serious stuff too. We are sorry to have been away from the microphones for 26 days and we thank you for loyal listening.
We try to be a bit more cerebral this time with Daniel's friend Bruce appearing for the first time. He added some needed wisdom and level-headedness to the proceedings which we don't think contains anything of a sexually offensive nature. For once.
This one we hope has enough good content to make up for my sloppy production values. At the end of this year, I find myself barely caring about anything and for that I apologize. There were just not enough milliwatts in my cortex to edit out Dino's barking through the glass door at around thirteen minutes in, or to take out a couple of clock chimes at around twenty four minutes in, or to go back and fix the downcut of final reverb on the Kaempfert closing track. I promise the first show of two thousand twenty one will be an improvement. Still, we thank you for your loyal listenership. Please write to us [email protected] with comments, requests and suggestions.
This was the longest silent spell between shows for which we apologize. During today's recording, we took a picture of ourselves which we are happy to share. Just send your request along with a self addressed stamped envelope to TICKETS THE PRICE IS RIGHT CBS TELEVISION CITY 7800 BEVERLY BOULEVARD LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA 90036...oh wait, sorry, send that request via email to [email protected] and we will send you the image.
At the risk of bringing up my embrace of legacy analog technology again, I extend gratitude to Willi Studer who built superb consumer reel tape decks going back three generations. My A77 Mk Two came to the rescue during our capture of this week's show. TWICE the digital audacity wave editor collapsed in a heap of frozen pixels on the laptop while the 3M 207 strip of oxide glided past the pulsating recording heads faithfully memorializing our conversation. It is this analog stream of sound that you are hearing as you play back our show for the week just before Thanksgiving 2020.
We discuss some sexual issues with frankness and impolite language so if you might be offended, find something innocuous on YouTube maybe. If you do listen, we say thank you.
This one has some frank talk about gay sex and relationships which we hope is not offensive to anyone. If you might not want to hear details of our gay sex lives, you might want to skip this one. If you DO want to hear some, we hope you are not disappointed.
