On this episode of Pancake Luncheon, when banishment from the open floor plan becomes the greatest gift of all, and our Jargon Jar judge, Lynda Meador, talks about a meeting she was a part of between three agency leaders when their agencies were being merged together by their holding company, and why it meant everything and nothing at all.
On this week's episode: HR lodestone, Lynda Meador, judges our use of jargon, we find out what one does when they tell their boss what they really think about them on a Zoom call, and is working at the best advertising agency in the US worth a divorce? What if they are upfront about it?

Ryan Durr is a seasoned advertising copywriter, creative director and now filmmaker. He and Pancake Luncheon host, Shawn Webster, talk about being working dads, the ridiculous things we do, struggling within the pandemic, and Ryan's new film, Chasing Hope.
Chasing Hope shares the story and struggles of families in Texas, all of whom have a child with Epilepsy, and their experience with CBD oil, which is not always easily obtained or afforded. Ryan tells Shawn about how he got this documentary made, their change of plans because of Covid, and how they came to share their own journey in the movie, rather than simply record others'.

S.O.B. Side Of Bacon are one-offs from the Pancake Luncheon team and its regular format: interviews, discussions, etc.
On this, the most important episode of Pancake Luncheon ever, our demigod judge, Copywriter and Creative Director, Ryan Durr, shares a story about getting laid off; and the age old question: do you have to be neurotic to be an intern, or does being an intern make you neurotic? As always, we raise money for some very good causes by trying not to use Jargon. Brendan, of course, fails.

The team is joined by Special Guest Justin Bajan to talk about whether or not we should have a meeting to talk about how we can stop having more meetings? And if we do have a meeting, who has to be there? Do you want to be there? Do you want people to see you there? Or do you just want to run...? Run.

A few friends have candid - and often, hysterical - conversations around people's shared experiences, in and out of the office. We shun jargon; we raise money for nonprofits; we laugh a lot.
