Once upon a time, there was a brahmin who used to till the land but never had a good crop. Once while resting under a tree near his land, he saw a snake. Brahmin bought some milk for the snake and next day found a gold coin in the milk container. And this started the process. But then came a day when Brahmin had to go out of the station and hence had to send his son to provide milk to the snake. What happened next, teaches us an important lesson.

Once a Brahmin got a goat in reward for his services at a rich man's house. While he was taking the goat back to his home, 3 thieves saw him and planned to steal the goat from the Brahmin. Poor Brahmin, in spite of all his knowledge and wisdom, was fooled by the thieves into believing that his goat was actually a dog not befitting for a Brahmin.

Once a group of pigeons got trapped in a net laid down by a hunter. To come out of this, the leader of the pigeons asked everyone to lie down still pretending to be dead. When the hunter came over and saw this, he loosened the net and at that very moment, all the pigeons started to flutter with full force and flew away with the net to a friendly mouse who helped them get out of the trap.
