Paul and Reggie first talk about the governor's decision to sign AB257 into law which would create a council that oversees fast-food employment including the potential $22 per hour they could make (2:35); then they talk about an email circulated around Unmask Tulare County members intended for local "conservatives" who vehemently opposed a screening of the movie Scream followed by a drag show. The event was initially scheduled for Sept. 3, but was cancelled due to online threats (21:30).
Paul and Reggie talk about Governor Gavin Newsom's unwillingness to sign the farm union bill that would have allowed farmworkers to vote for unionization through mail-in ballots. Farmworkers marched from Delano to Sacramento and arrived on Aug. 26 when Newsom announced that he wouldn't support AB 2183 (4:10); Then they talk about the Citrus Yellow Vein Clearing Virus discovered in residential citrus trees. It was the first time the virus was discovered in the United States (18:05).

Gavin Newsom's approach to greater water conservation (3:30); Then they talk about the opening statements, or lack there of in the juvenile case over two teens responsible for the fire that brought down the Porterville City Library and killed two firefighters in February 2020 (13:41).
