We're still celebrating the New Year though we are taking it back to some old lessons.
Gordy was in the hospital but was grateful for the amazing podcast with our special guests from our 'Live from Hollywood' episode. In celebration of National Mentoring Month, Mia takes us back to when she shared stories about the mentors she met along her journey with middle school students.

With insight from college student Jalyn, Mia and Gordy give advice to college students who may be discouraged or anxious about their future.
Gordy and Mia BOTH were impacted in a major way by the founder of CCC Dr. AR Bernard, Sr. and they both speak about him briefly as he is today's 'Person of the Week.'

In this season premiere Wendy, Mia's mom, comes on and speaks about growing up in Brownsville and being lured towards the projects, not being able to stay in the projects outside of her control, and how she came to know Christ.
