Chapter 2 explains that although Christ is now ascended and invisible, His presence is no less real or powerful, because He dwells with and within His people through the Holy Spirit. Drawing from Acts, the Gospels, and the early church, the chapter shows that true spiritual power comes when believers wait on Christ, depend on Him fully, and pray together in conscious reliance on His living headship rather than human strength or programs.

Chapter 1 opens with a striking example of corporate prayer where a mixed group intentionally invites Jesus Christ to be present and “actively in charge,” and the result is real conviction, repentance, and softened hearts—so much so that a young deacon says he’s never experienced anything like it before. The chapter then diagnoses why many modern prayer meetings feel powerless (routine requests, superficial “form of godliness,” and spiritual drift) and argues that the church and the home desperately need a return to Christ-centered, united prayer that seeks the Blesser more than the blessings

Pastor Joe explains that real disciple-making flows from walking with Jesus, carrying His authority, and living with an awareness that every place we go is part of the mission field. Using the “huddle” from sports as an illustration, he urges churches and believers to build regular moments of prayer—before services, during the week, and in everyday life—so disciple-making stays Spirit-led, personal, and active. He reminds us that with Christ’s presence and power, prayer becomes the heartbeat of a disciple’s lifestyle.

🔥 The Miracle of the Gospel — A Revelation in Galatians 🔥

We were honored to host Pastor Matt Harmless, associate pastor at First Baptist Covington and principal of Covington Christian School, for a powerful conversation on the gospel message in Galatians.

📖 Pastor Matt reminded us that the gospel is not just tradition or education—it’s revelation. Paul didn’t receive it from man, but directly from Jesus Christ. That’s the miracle we often overlook.

💬 “If we lose the miracle element of our faith, we will lose our children to our faith.”

From unveiling the true meaning of “apocalypse” to the fiery passion that drives ministry, this message is a call to return to the living reality of Christ in our midst.

✨ Highlights:

The gospel as a miraculous message

Revelation vs. tradition

“Kill the dragon, get the girl” — the story of Jesus from Genesis to Revelation

The liberating power of grace

Let this message ignite your heart and renew your vision for ministry, prayer, and daily life.
