Andrew Shayde grew up doing local theater and eventually moved to a larger stage as a rope swinging, sword fighting pirate in The Pirate Adventure in Orlando, Florida. Shortly after, Andrew appeared on the Emmy-winning reality TV series The Amazing Race on CBS. He has appeared in four independent films as well as productions of shows like Sordid Lives and The Boys in the Band.
Andrew is the author of the critical-acclaimed graphic novel series Monsters Among Us, starring Bigfoot and other cryptids, and has been a panel speaker at Comic Cons in Texas, Oregon, and New York City.
With most of his time, Andrew is the Development Director at Arbor Youth Services, a homeless/emergency shelter for kids right here in Lexington.
