Today on Spanning the State Kristin Brey and Brian Noonan break down President Donald Trump's inauguration day. They recount the 46 executive orders that he signed, and which ones alarmed them. They also discuss his pardoning of January 6 insurrectionists and what that means for justice in America in comparison to Joe Biden's last-minute pardons. As well as what these actions say in regard to gaslighting and normalizing certain behavior in and out of politics. Later they speak to David Cohn, current director of First Tee, a youth development organization that educates kids and teens on the game of golf. He shares how they teach kids how to play, the power of learning the sport, and how they still provide programs even in the dead of winter.
