Dr Rossi isn't just a Sunday Times bestselling author – she also holds a PhD in Probiotics and is one of the UK's leading experts on gut health. In this episode, we talk about how to improve gut health at any age, with everyday, family-friendly tips you can actually use.
From understanding how your gut affects mood, energy, and immunity to clever ways to introduce kids to gut-friendly foods (yes, even picky eaters!), this episode is packed with practical advice and myth-busting insights.
Dr Rossi also shares the truth about supplements, the gut–brain connection (those butterflies in your tummy really do mean something), and why feeding your gut microbes with the "Super 6" – wholegrains, fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, and seeds – is key to lifelong health.
It's an inspiring, science-backed conversation that'll leave you wanting to give your gut the love it deserves.

On this week's episode, we're joined by Louise Fox, a mother who has turned unimaginable personal loss into a powerful force for change. Louise's son George was a bright, animal-loving 12-year-old when he began having headaches that were repeatedly dismissed as harmless. Eleven months later, he died from an aggressive brain tumour. In the years since, Louise has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for Brain Tumour Research, supported the Tessa Jowell Foundation and co-founded the Angel Mums collective to improve paediatric palliative care. She's now a leading voice in Brain Cancer Justice, a campaign demanding serious government investment and better care for brain cancer patients.
Brain Cancer JusticeWe'll talk to Louise about how she and her family navigated those first terrifying weeks of misdiagnosis, what she learned about the shortcomings of current treatments and why she's fighting to make genome sequencing and clinical trials available to every child with a brain tumour. We'll hear about George's character and the community of "Gorgeous George" supporters who've kept his memory alive, and ask Louise what policy changes she believes could help transform brain cancer from terminal to treatable.

Kate Griggs is a powerhouse in the world of neurodiversity. As the founder and CEO of Made By Dyslexia, she's on a mission to help the world understand, value, and support dyslexic thinking—not as a disadvantage, but as a superpower.
She's the author of two bestselling books, This Is This Is Dyslexia and Xtraordinary People and the host of the chart-topping podcast Lessons in Dyslexic Thinking, where she's interviewed everyone from Sir Richard Branson to Erin Brockovich.
In this episode, Kate takes us back to the beginning of her own dyslexic journey—and shares what inspired her to launch a global movement. We talk about the outdated education system, how to nurture dyslexic strengths from a young age, and why ADHD, dyscalculia, and other forms of neurodiversity so often go hand in hand. She also shares the common traits she's noticed in successful dyslexic thinkers and the one piece of advice she'd give her 7-year-old self.
If you're a parent, teacher, or someone navigating neurodiversity yourself, this conversation is full of insight, warmth, and wisdom.
