Today I dive into conversation with someone I never met before but ironically share the same story. Kelly and I are both mothers that beat our children in the past. It is something we both regret and talk about freely in hopes to help parents and children alike come to terms with the effects and how to move forward.

Beatings, whoopings, spankings whatever you call or called it do you really think they are beneficial to children? I know in the black community it is a staple but what good has it really done?
