This week Dr. Kim is chatting with Sara Furlong. Sara is an author, writer, and creative director with nearly two decades of experience in media and storytelling. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Radio and Television Arts program, she has built her career crafting engaging narratives for film, television, literature and advertising. As the author of the best-selling Every Brain is Beautiful series, Sara strives to introduce neurodiversity to children in a way that fosters understanding and empathy, helping young readers gain insight into themselves and others.

Beyond her creative work, Sara is a dedicated advocate for accessibility and inclusion, especially in travel. Through her social media platform, @_havemorefun, she shares accessible travel tips and activities, inspired by her experiences as a mother to an Autistic son. Recognized as a family travel expert on Canadian TV and podcasts, Sara is driven by a vision to make travel accessible and inclusive for all.
