The struggle with homework. With a high-functioning autistic and a poor mindset. Each child is different but how do we serve them best to not only make sure they are meeting obligations but also enjoying life and their individual passions.

Brandon and I just got back from 6 days in Florida without the kids ... hear about the trip and why we feel it's so important to take vacations without the kids! But also hear about the adjustment of coming home after time away. It's a struggle for everyone but we missed the heck out of the kids.

Ava is testing her own responsibility so we will allow her to stay up later or not have a bedtime. Find out what we told her she would have to do and how that backfired on us today.
