Being intrinsically motivated is having the inner drive that propels a person to pursue an activity, not for external rewards, but because the action itself is enjoyable. People who are intrinsically motivated are more likely to be successful, committed, persistent, and creative.  We all want our kids to be motivated to do their best and that comes from having this intrinsic motivation.  So how do we teach them this?  We're sharing 8 different ways to help your kids learn to be internally motivated.

Both of us have experienced anxiety as children and we recently discovered that one of our kids is experiencing it as well. It took a little digging, but we finally figured out what was going on. Anxiety can be frustrating and confusing especially when kids don’t know that they’re experiencing it.
