The idea that a “good mom” is someone who is always selfless, always on, and always happy is one of the reasons why so many of us struggle with guilt, burnout, and frustration. This pressure is called “intensive mothering” and in today’s episode of Parenting Through Connection, I’m breaking down how this model of mothering sets us up for failure and why it's not sustainable in the long run.
