She earned three degrees, including her Ph.D., with only $1000 in loans. After retiring with 30+ years in and around higher education, she founded her college coaching practice, Debt Free Degree with Dr. Roz, and she is the Special Projects Manager for The Martin Luther King Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
As a form of Nonviolence, her focus is teaching students to create WEALTH by graduating fully debt-free, using her proven G.R.I.T. blueprint, strategies, and accountability system.
She attended her first training with The King Center in April 2018 and was immediately devoted to Dr. King's philosophy and methodology of Nonviolence365.
It is not hyperbole to say that Nonviolence has impacted every facet of her life. Now, her mission is to incorporate Nonviolence into schools and universities, joining other practitioners across the globe to cultivate the Beloved Community.

They believe that getting divorced will make life better, in reality the gloves come off and it becomes all about ‘winning’ and the children are just used as weapons or disregarded, I help those parents that want help to escape the war with the ex so that they can move forwards with their new lives instead of staying stuck in despair and confusion.

But...what if we could clear and release that energy intentionally and get back to joy?
The problem is kids don't typically understand what's happening, nor do they have language or feel safe being vulnerable enough to say what they need.

I disagree. Yes, a teen does need to distinguish themselves as a separate being from their parent. Yes, they do try to do this by rejecting their parent, through isolating in their room, saying "Go Away!", eye-rolling, etc.
And, here's what I see - even when they reject the parent in this way, the teen is still not getting their need met. That's why the teen continues to reject, and why that wall goes up between you and your teen.
I'm going to share ways to take down that wall, brick by brick, by identifying and meeting your teen's (and your) core needs. And, I'll show you how to do this in a way that will have you and your teen in belly laughs. It's possible. Actually.
Join us for a conversation with Sonali Vongchusiri as we explore why t(w)eens reject parents so relentlessly, how to respond instead of just saying ‘you’re being rude,’ and learn how to dismantle the growing wall, one brick at a time.

How often are you asking your child, "Why did you DO that?".
Many people with ADHD have difficulty with impulse control.
This can affect friendships, academic success, and self confidence.
Lack of impulse control can also lead to higher anxiety over social situations.
During this conversation, parents will gain a better understanding of why our tween/teen struggle with impulsive behavior.
They will leave with strategies to help their children reign in their impulsive behavior.
Join us for a conversation with Cary Colleran as we chat about why we have impulsive behavior, and how to use ‘Body Tells’ to create plans to help avoid the challenges that come with lack of impulse control.
