NAVA joins Pari Co-directors Tian Zhang and Naomi Segal for an in-conversation chat on good practice frameworks for running and sustaining artist-run initiatives (ARIs).
The conversation offers insights into the ways in which NAVA’s Code of Practice can help champion the long-term viability of ARis, ensuring they continue their role in platforming experimental and responsive practice within art communities, both locally and beyond.
The talk accompanies Pari’s fourth annual iteration of Mixed Business; an exhibition celebrating the people who keep Pari running.
Endorsed by the Australian Government as part of National Cultural Policy - Revive: a place for every story, a story for every place, the Code of Practice for Visual Arts, Craft and Design sets out equitable, ethical and self-reflective standards for the professional Australian contemporary arts sector.
