As we continue our series "The Good Life," we look at verses seven and eight in Matthew chapter 5. Pastor Brad explains that recognizing our brokenness and pursuing Jesus will lead to being more merciful and pure.

What a privilege it was for Park Church to have Pastor Zach Dietrich from our sending church, Soteria, continue in our series "The Good Life. " Pastor Zach preached from Matthew 5:6. In verse six, Jesus says, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness." Watch as Zach lays out how to know what is "satisfying" us and how to know how Jesus truly satisfies!

In our series "The Good Life," Pastor Brad preaches from Matthew 5:4. In verse four, Jesus says, "Blessed are those who mourn". Watch as we learn what to mourn for and what it brings to those who know Christ!

Jesus begins his sermon by inviting his listeners to the true life of blessing. But what he calls them to sounds like the opposite of the good life. But Jesus’s way of life is different. The way of the kingdom is different than what they and we might expect, but if we were to receive Jesus's invitation, we could truly live the good life no matter what circumstances come our way and truly flourish the way we were intended.
