This week we head to all the East Coaster's favorite vacation spot, Myrtle Beach. Well not really the beach, to Mitch's surprise, but to technical wooded courses packed with ripping wind and rain from the ocean nearby. With both MPO & FPO divisions going to a playoff for the win, you don't want to miss this recap!
What a breakout year of 2021 for so many women in the FPO division! This year displayed different winners every week of the tour, Catrina Allen winning her 2nd world title, Missy Gannon breaking the single season payout record, Kristin Tattar raising the bar of competition, and so many first time names with podium finishes. The 2022 FPO season cannot come soon enough!
Later, the guys reluctantly quickly relive their doubles tournament failures. Then Hayden interviews Mitch about his play in The Etowah Fall Salute. Mitch reveals his mid round secret on how to jump 14 spots (spoiler, it's tequila), how he needs to commit to putts, and how injuries have changed the way he approaches the game now.

What a week! Parked was able to attend the Throw Pink Women's Championship and United States Championship! With expectations of insane weather each day, it was a surprise to see blue skies for a majority of the tournament. Well, except for round 3... nearly 5 straight hours of rain definitely brought challenge but made out for an even crazier final day. Some players were seriously affected by the conditions and others shot the hottest round of the tournament! With the USDGC ending in a playoff and the TPWDGC swapping the lead more times than you could imagine, we cannot wait til next year!

Since 1999, disc golfers from around the world have traveled to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina for the United States Disc Golf Championship. Whether you're walking onto the course for the first year or the 20th, there really is nothing like it!
In this preview episode for the week to come, Mitch, Hayden, and Justin run through some USDGC history and later go hole by hole breaking it all down. They do their best to allow you to close your eyes (not if you're driving while listening) and visualize exactly what each hole is like from driving off the tee pad to putting out on the basket.

Smuggler's Notch in Jeffersonville, Vermont is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated stops on the pro tour. The Green Mountain Championship brings some of the most scenic views in the country, a music festival, and oh yeah, disc golf! 4 rounds doesn't seem like nearly enough when course records are being thrown. It's about this time on the tour when all the hard work, dedication, and stamina begin to kick in. With only a few events left on the calendar, we hope to continue to see new names atop the leaderboard!
Justin officially has the tournament bug as he played 2 weekends in a row! Mitch and Hayden debrief with him on his preparation, progress round to round, and what there is to take away from a tough but strengthening event. Being able to improve by 6 strokes in his final round, Justin is definitely trending in the right direction as he begins his amateur disc golf career!
We've seen match play at the Ryder's Cup, but what does it look like in disc golf? This week, the first ever DGPT Match Play Championship takes place at the gorgeous Steel Club in Pennsylvania. This event sets the tone for many ideas and future tournaments in our sport! Watch it live on the Disc Golf Network this weekend.
