He says: “Welcome to the Christmas mayhem! I don’t know about you, but the run down to Christmas feels incredibly busy! With all the hustle and bustle it can be hard to find the time to stop, breathe, and take the time to rest. And without those times of stillness, we can miss the voice of God. Over the coming weeks we are focusing on Isaiah 9:6 and the titles for Jesus. This Sunday we will be considering the title “Wonderful Counsellor”. Jesus is, in fact, a wonderful counsellor, but how do we hear His counsel? And can we hear His counsel in all the noise? How can we discern the counsel of God from the counsel of the world?"
