BIG Jolt II

Join the guys as Shannon discusses his trip out to california to the Big Jolt 2 Electric EDF event. Shannon heads out on an all electric weekend complete with electric transportation. AZ Mike informs the guys that he was able to secure the Skylink Cessna from Big Mikes estate.

Shannon's Maiden

In this episode join the guys as they discuss Shannon's maiden of the Big turbo Duster he just picked up. Shannon heads to the field to put it through its paces but the airplane had other ideas. Shannon takes us through the build, set up and flight and the mishaps that sometimes happen on maiden flights.

Happy BDay AK Mike

As we continue the Birthday episodes Join the guys as they discuss AK Mikes new gift from the guys. AK Mike gets a big brown box for his birthday and his only clue is the return label that has the hobby shop address on it. Unlike some people he actually waited till his actual birthday to open it. AK Mike takes us through the very quick build and his maiden flight and his thoughts on the events.

Happy Bday AZ Mike

Well its that time of year again where the Mike's have birthdays. In this episode Join the guys as they discuss AZ Mike's gift. Looks like the guys got tired of producing products for AZ Mike and decided to make him do some of the work himself. Unfortunately the box that arrived had a huge picture of the contents of the box, so with a little help from the spouse, Jay was able to keep the secret and have her deliver the gifts during the taping of this episode so everyone could participate in the events. With all the new toys AZ Mike got right to work and with an unboxing and set up was on his way. AZ Mike was surprised with a new Creatlity 3d resin printer and some resin. Join the guys as they discuss the gifts.

Shannon at Gunsmoke

Shannon G heads off to the Gunsmoke contest and submits his aircraft for judging and flight. He takes us through what it takes to make it through the day of Judging. Jay and Jim head out to the field to do some flying and turns in to a great day! AK Mike is stuck with Dallas weather so no flights for him.

Mike maidens the Bison

Shannon joins us again after getting bamboozled into the Gunsmoke qualifier, and takes us through how that happened. AZ Mike and Shannon recount the weekend at AZ warbirds and classics. Finally AZ Mike swings by Jay's place to maiden the Bison. Join the guys as they discuss the different events and flying the bison!. Lots of fun and a few tense moments but overall a great time.

Happy Birthday Jay

Jay from the hills of Texas has a birthday and a coffin sized box showed up on his doorstep. Jay takes us through the new airframe he got on his birthday and some of the building struggles he encountered. AK Mike talks about taking his planes out to the field and trying to fly with Sarge.

Gun Smoke 2023

Join the guys this week as they bring back Shannon G and discuss the safety tip of the week. Always look over your planes before you fly something is always either loose or disconnected or in this case cut wires. Shannon takes us through what it takes to compete in Gun Smoke 2023 a Scale Masters Qualifier. This one will be held at the end of this month at Shannons field in Mesa AZ.

AEF 2023 Review

Join the guys as they review the weekend fun at the AZEF 2023 with Jay and discuss meeting some new friends at the field. During the night fly Montana and Rochelle showed up looking for the event and wound up hanging out with us for a little bit Saturday night. Sunday morning they once again came by the field and AZ Mike gets to test fly the volantex micro planes from Amazon and get it trimmed out and set up. Having new folks get interested in flying RC is always exciting and this is no exception.

Arizona Electric Festival Part 2

Join the guys as they discuss Saturdays events at the AEF 2023. Saturday was nice weather and good flying had by all. Pilot raffle was fantastic and everyone received something. We wrap up the weekend with a night fly and look forward to next year.
