Galatians 6:11-18
This week, Brock Beisel taught through Galatians 6:11-18!! Parkside Church is in Atlanta, Georgia. We exist to glorify God by making disciples who grow and multiply in Atlanta and beyond. Paul’s final words in Galatians 6:11-18 encourage the Galatians to boast in nothing but the cross and to be utterly reliant on Christ’s work on our behalf, emphasizing the letter’s focus on the Cross that saves us and the Spirit that sanctifies us. When all is said and done, Paul is saying “Watch out!” If you’re tossed and turned by either the fear of being rejected or the love of being praised, you really cannot embrace Christ crucified. Jesus says “Except a man take up his cross and follow me, he cannot be my disciple." May we, like Paul, be mastered by, and obsessed with Jesus!
