Deuteronomy 18:15-22 sets the stage for Christ to fulfill the role as the true and perfect prophet whom all the prophets point forward to. While the words given to Moses in Deuteronomy 18 are fulfilled in part in the many prophets seen throughout the Old Testament, they are only fulfilled fully in Christ. As the author of Hebrews wrote, "Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God Spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son."

As we learn to pray from the prayers of the psalms, it is important to know what to do with David's enemies, and his prayers against them, and his prayers for them. Who are your enemies? How should you pray for them?
