Those who answer the call to discipleship must do so thoughtfully. Christ is not looking for rash decisions that are made in the heat of the moment and then easily abandoned. Those who answer the call must know what Christ requires — He asks for everything.

Awakening does not mean we understand and think and do the right things. Actually, it’s very much the contrary. Awakening usually starts with getting things wrong.

A follower of Jesus can’t say goodbye to the old life fast enough.

When they left their nets, Simon and Andrew left their jobs. They left their security. They left their plans for their life and followed Jesus!

Every birth is life-changing but only Jesus' birth changes every life because He came to give us peace with God, with one another, and even with ourselves.

We give and receive some great gifts at Christmas, but the greatest gift any of us could ever receive is the child in the manger - Jesus.

Christmas proves that God is 100% faithful because He sent His Son exactly like He said He would.

We live and keep living thankfulness when we see what Jesus has done for us and we allow the Gospel to transform our hearts.
